Reader Voting Schedule for RONE's

Hello everyone! I'm so excited! The last week has been amazing. A whirlwind of activity here. But we'll keep this post focused on the RONE's.

Because of the number of books nominated and the various categories, InD'Tale had to break the voting down by genre and sub genre. Each week you'll have the opportunity to vote on specific categories. Voting has already started and you can find the schedule here.

As you know, Wee William's Woman, McKenna's Honor and Rowan's Lady have all been nominated.  Reader voting is extremely important. I can't move on to the next round without readers voting.

Wee William's Woman and Rowan's Lady are in the Historical Medieval category. Voting for them begins March 24 at InDTale Magazine. McKenna's Honor is in the Historical Novella category and that voting begins April 7. It is one vote per person.

It is an honor to be nominated! To see my books listed among the likes of Courtney Milan, Kathryn Loch, Willa Blair, Hildie McQueen, and Kate Robbins (just to name a few) is mind-boggling! I'm just so tickled about this!

As always, you can find updates on books, contests, etc. at my Facebook Page or my new website.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart! I would not be where I am if it weren't for all of you!

Hugs,
Suzan

I Am Humbled and Amazed

So I snuggled in with my Kindle tonight, settling in to read Holly Bush's new book. I thought I would check my stats before getting lost for a few hours.  I rarely check my author rank, but I happened to do that tonight.

This is what I found:

At first I thought my Kindle must be acting up, so I pulled out my phone. It said the same thing! Thinking it might be wrong, I pulled out my lap top. There it was. Again.

I can't quit crying -- happy tears of course. ;o) This is just beyond anything I could ever have imagined!

So I called my husband in...I had to explain to him who Diana Gabaldon and Courtney Milan were! He thought something was wrong because I could barely talk.

This is right up there with giving birth to my beautiful children, marrying Kevin, and the births of my perfect grandbabies. I am amazed. Stunned. Elated. Humbled.

I know that I have said this before, but it is true. I could not have done any of this without you, my beautiful, amazing, awesome, sweet readers! THANK YOU! My heart is swelling with love for you all right now. ;o)

I do not know if sleep will be easy tonight simply because this is so very exciting!

Thank you all,

Humbly yours,
Suzan

Number 10!!

Yes, I check my stats on a semi-regular basis. (Okay, every couple of hours! lol)

Look where Wee William's Woman is right now:

He's right between Courtney Milan and Eloisa James! How cool is that? Such an exciting day! Thank you all so very much! This wouldn't be possible without you!

Updates From the Writing Cave

Good morning my beautiful readers! ;o) One of these days I hope to be able to say, "Updates from my beautiful home library!"instead of the cave. ;o)

I do hope you are enjoying your St. Patrick's Day! My mother is Irish. Second generation born from Irish/Scot immigrants. Today is what we fondly refer to as her Christmas. ;o)

I've added a new page to the site. It is titled "My Favorite Authors".  This is a list of authors whose book(s) have touched me on a very deep and inspiring level. A few of them have become very good and dear friends of mine. But please know, they made this list before I even knew them. ;o) No nepotism, no buying your way to the top, lol. You can find the new page by clicking here or  at the top of the home page.

I would also like to share with you our latest stats for Wee William's Woman. Please keep in mind that these stats are fluid, updated on an hourly basis by the Amazon people. But as of 8:45 this morning, Wee William's Woman was ranked thusly:

What do those numbers mean? Where it says Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #414. That means that out of all the Kindle books at Amazon -- over 2 million -- Our Wee William's Woman is ranked #414! That is pretty darned good for an indie author!!

Amazon puts our books into categories. Because of my genre, my books are found in Historical Fiction, Historical Romance, and Family Sagas. I am so tickled to be in the #10 slot for Historical Fiction!! ;o) Again, for an independently published author, this is pretty cool! It is based on sales and reviews and clicks and heaven only knows what else!

I am right behind Ken Follett!! That just blows me away. I could not have done this without all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ;o)

I will keep you posted if we go any higher than this. ;o) You can also follow my updates at my Facebook Fan Page.

I'm also on Twitter. (I am a huge fan of Twitter!)  twitter@suzantisdale

Again, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Have a beautiful day!

Hugs,
Suzan
