The Clan MacDougall Series, Bundled!

Hello my lovely readers! It has been a very busy couple of weeks here. I'm finally on the mend after catching some ugly bug. With that out of the way, it is time for me to get back to work. :D

I'm happy to announce that I have bundled the first three books in The Clan MacDougall Series! Readers can now get all three books for their Kindle for $5.99. Its like getting Laiden's Daughter for a penny! (Feel free to spread the word!)

Now available at Amazon

How cool is that? ;o)

Rowan's Lady is still set for release at some time in October. As soon as I have a pre-order link, I'll get that to you. You can always stay up to date on news by following me on my fan page at Facebook.

Author Spotlight at Create Space!

Good morning my beautiful readers! It has been such an exciting month here! Lots of wonderful things are happening and its getting to the point that I can barely keep up with it all. I think that is a good thing!

I left for Las Vegas on the 5th. It was a phenomenal experience! I'll post more on that later. We arrived home late Sunday night. Exhausted, excited, but glad to be home.
My husband and I at the costume party. Yes, he is wearing his kilt!

Yesterday was spent recuperating!
You can see the pictures at my Facebook page.

As most of you already know, I am an independent author. Create Space is where I have my paperback books made. Currently, I am their featured author! This is a tremendous honor. You can learn a little more about me and my journey at their site. This was a fun interview! :D

I can't thank each of you enough for all of your support and kindness! If there was ever a contest on who had the best readers, I'd win. Hands down. Every time. :D

Hugs,
Suzan

Congratulations Author Krystal Shannon!!!

My fellow author and friend, Krystal Shannon, has a new book out! Its titled Saving Margaret, Vegas Mates 2.

I don't know about you, but this cover is Hot!! Nice muscles!

SAVING MARGARET
Vegas Mates, Book 2
By
Krystal Shannan
Successful, but lonely, Margaret Taylor finds her mate in the body of a man she least expects it in. A bear! Her human half tries to reason her way out of the match, but her wolf is through with her excuses. Crossing the species line isn’t unheard of, but it’s not often done.
Try as she might to avoid him, fate makes sure the big grizzly bear is nearby at all times. But, will his presence be enough to protect her from the evil stalking her?
The power of the magick between them can’t be avoided. But, Scott O’Hearn thinks the beautiful Taylor wolf is doing a fine job of just that —avoiding him. He can’t help he’s a bear shifter and he’s determined to convince her it doesn’t matter. She is his mate and he’s waited over a century to find her.
Will he convince Margaret she’s his true match before it’s too late?
When Chase Michaels, Henry’s nephew, had shown up, claiming Samantha as his mate, her wolf had broken through the walls she’d built.
“This place isn’t enough to hold her. She’s going to hurt you. She’s going to hurt everyone. You have to stop me,” she cried, the salty taste of tears coated her lips.
“I won’t let the Council put you down. We can beat her.”
She shook her head, sobbing. “No, not this time.”
“I will find a way,” he replied, determination set in stone across his face.
She shivered. Slivers of cold and darkness curled around her heart. Control was slipping away like hot Vegas desert sand through her fingers. Magic rippled across her body. She was shifting. Her silk dress shredded and fell to the white carpet.
Peter released her and stepped back into the doorway.
An angry snarl tore from her lips. She lunged at her husband, helpless to stop the bloodlust in her wolf. A sharp pain coursed over her shoulder and she yelped when he knocked her roughly to the floor. She was just relieved she’d not injured him.
“I’m sorry, Renata. I’m so sorry.”
Renata whined, meeting her husband’s sorrowful gaze. She knew and she forgave him, but the wolf, now in charge of her body again, snarled through the whine and snapped at his hand.
The prick of a needle pinched the scruff of her neck. Then darkness came. Her wolf’s control receded as they both lost consciousness, but the fight was far from over.
To be continued…

Romance Novel Convention...Here We Come!!

Today is the big day! We fly out to Las Vegas this afternoon for a week of fun in the sun, hanging out with GREAT authors, and hopefully meeting some readers!

I've never been to Las Vegas before. My husband is there several times a year for work. This will also be my son's first time on an airplane. This is my first author convention too. The next week is going to be filled with firsts.

I will post pictures here and at Facebook as time allows. I'm looking forward to the costume party! This is a picture of my dress...but mine is red instead of green.

My husband will be wearing a kilt...a contemporary number as I couldn't talk him into yards and yards of plaid, going shirtless, and wearing lace up leather boots. At least, not in public! (Grin)

The month of July was a most amazing time! August looks to be just as promising, filled with new adventures. home construction, writing, my son taking driver's ed. My baby is going to be 16! Where has the time gone?

Thank you all so very much! I have the best readers. I really do!

Have a great week and I'll keep you posted!

Hugs,
Suzan

Happy Friday!

Good morning my lovely readers! I hope you are having an awesome Friday!

They took away the last dumpster this morning at around 6:30. The dump truck was delivered last night. A team of men should be here at around 8:30 to start taking out the old garage foundation. Yay!!! Kevin is lining people up for the day after we get back, to dig the foundation for the room addition.

Its surreal.  We've dreamt of a new kitchen for years. I would have settled for new cabinets in the old kitchen, but that still would not have solved our seating issue. The current kitchen is so tiny that you can't get a table and chairs in it. When we first married, Kevin built a very small table and mounted it to the wall. It seats 1 comfortably. Honestly, my desk is bigger than the table!

We could never have family over, unless it was for a bonfire/wienie roast in  the back yard. We could never do a family dinner. After we did the living room (annexed 1/2 the front porch to make living room bigger) we finally had a spot to put a table and 3 chairs!! But still, we could only have so many people over at once because there are just so many places to put them. The little kid table? Why that is my coffee table! lol Still, we managed and enjoyed our kids.

Now, we'll be able to have the entire family over! I'll be able to have someone in the kitchen and I won't have to say "Go stand by the telephone so I can cut the green peppers." Yes, it is that small. Floor to ceiling wood barn siding that is so old and so dry that it now kind of dangerous. Next to nothing for storage. I have six small cabinets in the entire kitchen. I don't count the one over the fridge because I can't reach it so I never use it! ;o) And yet, for some reason, my husband loves to buy me stuff for the kitchen! I love this man!

Anyway...it is a dream come true. The new addition won't be over the top with marble or granite countertops, but it will be beautiful! I'm going with quartz countertops, at least that is what I want until it is time to pick something out. I know me and I am glad my husband knows me. ;o) If you give me more than two choices, it can sometimes take me forever to make a decision.

When Kevin bought this house, he thought he would be single for the rest of his life. Like me, he had no plans to ever remarry. So a small house made sense. Then he met me. A 5'9" divorced, single mom of three. We sort of changed each other's way of thinking!

Before we started remodeling, it was 724 square feet. With the annexation of the front porch - 1/2 for living room the other 1/2 for walk in closet, it was at 864 square feet. I think he says we're doubling the size of the house with the new kitchen, dinning room, and office. And he promises me I'll have more than five or six cabinets. It is a blessing being married to a carpenter!!

Thank you all, each of you, for helping make this dream come true! Honestly, none of this would be happening were it not for all of you. I hope you realize how important you all are to me and how much I appreciate each and every one of you.

I promise to post before and after pictures. I have been posting pictures on Facebook if you want to take a look to see how far we have come.

Now, I'm off to work on Rowan's Lady. I am looking forward to sharing his story with you, hopefully in October!

The audio book of Wee William's Woman should be ready at Audible by the end of the month. We're just giving it another once over. Guy did a fabulous job with it!

I'm sending you all hugs, thanks, and happy thoughts today! Have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Suzan
