To commemorate the joining of forces, our creative minds, and to share in the joy of spring being just around the corner, we are giving away a FREE Kindle Fire (or a $200 Gift Card to Amazon or Barnes & Nobel if you already have a Kindle Fire.)
I for one am ready for Spring! Yes, I am looking forward to longer, warmer days, green grass, spring showers, and bunnies in the yard. But what I'm looking forward to the most is breaking ground for the new kitchen and dinning room addition! I'm willing to put up with gaping holes, saw dust, dry wall dust, lumber, drills, hammers, saws, etc. My current kitchen is so tiny - I mean, really, I've seen bigger bathroom stalls at the mall than my kitchen! lol
What are you looking forward to this spring or summer?
PS: Don't forget to leave your email address so that we can contact you if you win! I promise no spamming. ;o)
PS: I'll also be giving away a FREE paperback copy of Wee William's Woman! This is apart from the Kindle Fire. ;o)
I have had so much fun with this contest! I hope you have too! Contest ends tomorrow night. we should have winners announced on the 23rd or 24th. :-)
Hugs,
Suzan

Waiting to see Wee Williams's Women in paperback since I don't have a Kindle. Love that a hometown girl is enjoying some recognition as a writer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Wee William's Woman will be available in paperback in very soon! Probably within a couple of days. ;o)
DeleteJay, did we go to school together?

Spring brings beauty and, yes, chaos. I'm looking forward to have 2 acres cleared. We're fencing the yard to keep our crazy cattle dogs from roaming around the area like fools. Also, two new releases and, of course, this BLOG HOP. Am so looking forward to diving into Wee William. Hope Springs brings you new delights, especially that kitchen! P.S. Look the other way during construction.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had more acres. ;o) We have a huge 1/2 acre lot, but I know my husband wishes it was ten. We often talk about buying some wooded acreage then we think, "Snakes. Spiders. And our favorite Chinese restaurant won't deliver to the country!" lol
DeleteLooking forward to your books! ;o)
This will be the first remodel where I am home during it. lol We've been through it before, but I have a feeling it will be different as I won't have a job to escape to. I mean, a job outside of the house! lol
Suzan
Hello from a fellow RT member!! Spring brings Easter which I love and it just so happens to fall on my Birthday this year, and it brings sun and fun to my house! Not to mention a Disney vacation. ;) Good luck on your remodel! How exciting!!

I too am looking forward to the longer days and warmer days of first Spring and then Summer. Congratulations on the new addition to the house and good luck with it. I would love to have an additional room added to our house -a laundry room that is on the main floor - I hate having to go to the basement to do laundry...lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway

Thanks for stopping by Maria! ;o)
ReplyDeleteMy husband wanted to put the laundry room IN the new kitchen. I said absolutely not! lol So it will go in the old kitchen so no more up and down the stairs.
Enjoy your spring and summer!

We won't be able to do a garden this year (bummer!) The yard will be so torn up with construction and we'll be just way too busy with the remodel. I love homemade jellies and jams. My grandma Lily made the BEST grape jelly! ;o)

I always look forward to the budding of the trees. I love seeing the first hint of the leaves that makes all of the brown go away. It seems like once this happens the sun finally starts to shine :)
ReplyDeleteThe other day I was up really early and outside. It had just snowed again (in March), but the birds were singing. Obviously they can' wait for spring either. I love to hear the birds sing :)
Spring can't get here soon enough this winter seems to have lasted forever.
I agree! Does it seem longer simply because I'm older? lol I hope not!
DeleteEnjoy your spring!
